LIBRARY FUNDRAISERS
The Chatsworth Library is excited about the
response to its recent fundraisers. The three
events have been well attended and the recycling
of aluminum cans is serving two unique
proposes...first, thousands of pounds of
aluminum are being kept out of the landfills and
secondly funds are being raised for the building
of the new library. The six bin recycling bin
has been filled and changed out in slightly over
a month. The enthusiasm for the library project
can be seen in the pictures as two of the
younger generation are proudly doing their part
for the library. Preschooler, Samuel Moore can
be seen in the picture as he brings in his
second bag of coins for the new library. In the
second picture Caden Sawyers is seen putting his
bag of cans in the recycle bin as library
director, Mary Fisher-Miller, raises the lid for
him. She also points out that Caden has donated
over twenty books to the library this past year
in memory of or in honor of people who have been
important in his life. A salute to these civic
minded young men as they do their part in
helping to see the project to its completion.
