One Chatsworth alumnus, Alan Baltz, believes we need a new library.  He believes in our project so much that he has sent us a $15,000 donation.  He challenges all other Chatsworth alumni and residents to join him in working toward the building of our new library.  He is challenging everyone to match, beat or simply contribute to the building fund.

Our voting has dropped off dramatically.  We can get back in the top ten.  Mr. Baltz is voting.  We can too.  Let us make a concerted effort to spend an extra ten minutes each day to get us back to the top.

Starting Thursday, January 11 and continuing each Thursday until the contest ends we will have a voting marathon at the library.  We will be a Wi-Fi hot  spot, so bring your smart phone, iPod, laptops, etc.  We also will have 8 library computers available---let's all come to the library and have a "voting party" each Thursday night from 5 - 10.  Snacks and drinks will be available each week.  (If you can't come to the library, join us by voting from home,) Together we can gain back what we have lost.  Let's see how much we can gain each day.  Let's do this to show Alan that we care about Chatsworth and the library as much as he does.

Who's this at the library?

We found a large collection of snapshots taken through the years in the library.

Unfortunately, we do not know everyone in these pictures.

One a week will be posted here through Contact Us and or on Facebook.

We need your help to identify those in the picture so we can have accurate pictorial records.

Who is this person???

Congratulations to

Chatsworth Elementary

On a successful fundraiser in October. The students sold over $2057 worth of kits raising $1015.50 for the PTO to use for assemblies and other school supported efforts. This also raised $205 for the Library. The kits have arrived and will be distributed shortly. If you still would like to purchase kits you can go to the PTO website.

If you have not picked up an application for your new library card

you can down load a PDF version and drop it off at the library.

***Check out the Chatsworth Community Calendar for events that the Library will be holding in the near future.

***We have implemented our automated system which has added all the RSA and Alliance system materials as links from our site.  Now books can be ordered, placed on hold, etc. from your homes and picked up at the library. The library is an exciting place to be.

If you have any requests, please see that they get to me so we can do our best to accommodate your wishes.
